Automatic and Manual Transmission Repair
The First Step - Do you have a transmission problem?
Every car that comes in to our AAMCO center receives an External Diagnostic Service (EDS). The EDS includes checking the level and condition of your transmission fluid, a road test to verify operational issues, and a lift check to test all external transmission controls. The EDS is how we ensure that you receive the proper service recommendation. Half of the cars that come in to our center with
suspected transmission problems do not need a major transmission repair. Many can be fixed with a minor adjustment, electrical repair, or other performance issues.
Come to us for all of your transmission repair needs.
The EDS is a comprehensive review and test of all of the systems on your vehicle, including transmission, driveline, engine, cooling, braking, and electrical. An EDS typically takes 45 minutes for most makes & models, and also includes using a computer diagnostic scanner to gather information from your vehicle's on-board computer. This information will be given to you in a written estimate including warranty.
